What are the requirements to pursue vocational training in Germany?
Upon pursuing vocational training in Germany, you are required to meet at least some of the basic conditions below:
(i) You need to have High school diploma in Vietnam
(ii) The age to pursue vocational training is from 18 to 35.
(iii) Having a B1 level German certificate, depending on some occupations, students are required to have a A2 level German certificate.
How much do I have to pay for vocational training per month?
Dual vocational training programs in Germany are completely tuition-free. Students receive salaries during the vocational training period.
How long does the vocational training take?
The duration for vocational training as prescribed by the German Government is from 24-36 months, depending on the profession and learning capacity of each student.
How will students be trained?
When joining vocational training in Germany, you will be trained theoretically and practically simultaneously. Depending on your program, you will receive different study plans. At the end of each course and academic year, there will be exams.

Do I receive financial support during vocational training in Germany?
There are many support policies for students. Students will receive salaries every month during training. Depending on professions and years of training, salaries for students vary.
What are the job opportunities after vocational training?
After graduating, students have the chance to work with enterprises which provide training.

Students joining the diploma conversion – accreditation – skill development courses will receive an average salary from 40.000.000VND to 80.000.000VND per month during vocational training (depending on professions). Students have the opportunity to settle long-term – indefinite-term in Germany after 5 years of studying and working, and can sponsor their relatives from Vietnam to Germany.
